Speaker Presentation
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

How-To

  1. Click on this link when ready to upload your speaker presentation: https://www.openconf.org/ADC2015/
  2. Once you are in the in speaker submission site called: OpenConf
  3. Click “Make Submission”
  4. Click “Speaker Presentation”
  5. Fill out required speaker account information
  6. Upload your presentation and click the drop down selection to identify the file type: PDF, Power Point, Word Doc

Due Date
Your Speaker Presentation must be uploaded and submitted for CME Review by March 1, 2015

CME Presentation Criteria:
Each presentation will be reviewed using the following 7 questions: In the event something is missing you asked to revise and re-upload your presentation.

  1. Is the Disclosure of the presenters included on the Title page of the presentation? (Role of the individual and name of the commercial interest should be included.)
  2. Is the content scientifically-based and accurate?
  3. Is the content appropriate for and does it match the scope of practice of the target audience?
  4. Does the content meet the stated learning objectives of the CME activity?
  5. Is the content fair and balanced?
  6. Did you detect commercial bias during your review of the content?
  7. Are brand names of drugs/products used in the content?
    Please note: The use of generic names for drugs in content, rather than brand names, is required to keep content appropriate for CME.
    7a. If yes, are all of the brands in that class also covered in the content and referred to by brand name?
    7b. If yes (to number 7), are generic names also included?

PLEASE NOTE: All presentations will be posted as a handout on the secured portion of the ADC new website www.AtlanticDermConference.org  for attendees to review, using a password for access.

Should your presentation be proprietary, and you not wish to include it to be posted online, PLEASE INDICATE THAT ADVISEMENT IN YOUR COMMENTS, when you upload it.

You must still upload and submit your presentation for CME review, however, you may also upload a Word document of your presentation outline, for posting to the ADC web site by March 1, 2015.
