Dear Atlantic Derm Members, Colleagues, and Friends:

Your Philadelphia-based Atlantic Derm Planning Committee welcomes you to the 92nd Atlantic Dermatological Conference in the birthplace of America! The Philadelphia Dermatological Society is honored to host you and the Atlantic Derm Conference. A special thank you is in order to this year’s amazing planning committee- feel free to give them a high-five or a fist-bump. They deserve it!

We hope you enjoy the long tradition of our case-based conference as well as several new initiatives we are launching this year:

Atlantic Derm Has Gone Digital: Everything you need to know about the weekend can be found on our new website at www.AtlanticDermConference.org. We’re also on twitter – follow us @AtlanticDermADC and tweet using the hashtag #AtlanticDerm.

Interactive Sessions: We plan on turning Atlantic Derm into a weekend-long interactive conversation among experts using a program called Socrative. Stop by the “Socrative Hot Spots” in the Liberty Foyer for help on getting your smartphone ready.

Poster Conversations: Visit the Freedom ballroom to see the nearly 50 innovative scientific poster presentations from across the Atlantic Derm region. Join in on the Poster Conversations by submitting your questions in the envelopes next to each poster. The authors will get right back to you with answers!

The Barnes Foundation: We have arranged exclusive access for Atlantic Derm on Saturday night at The Barnes Foundation’s stunning new Center City location. We look forward to seeing you at one of the greatest collections of post-Impressionist and early Modern art in the world.

Philly Fun Run…”Don’t Tan It, TONE IT” We are excited about the inaugural Atlantic Derm Fun Run. On Sunday morning our dermatology fitness experts will take participants on a guided tour of Philadelphia intermixed with fitness-related dermatology pearls and bursts of fun exercises. Stop by the Fun Run Table for more details.

The City of Brotherly Love awaits! Check out the “Philly Attractions” page on our website for fun activities, discounted museum tickets, and good eats for the whole family. We’ve highlighted family-friendly spots and arranged for discounted Phillies tickets at “Atlantic Derm Night at the Ballpark” for Friday night’s home game.
